Overview

This policy explains what personal data SIA Noventra Logistics collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to visitors of this website and to anyone who submits a quote request or otherwise contacts us through it.

It does not cover personal data we process about drivers, subcontractors or business partners under separate service agreements — that is governed by the terms of those agreements.

Who we are

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

SIA Noventra Logistics
Čiekurkalna 1. šķērslīnija 6B–14, Rīga, LV-1026, Latvia
Registration No. 40203764318
Email: noventralogistics.sia@gmail.com · Phone: +371 26732496

We are a Latvian road-freight company and process personal data as a small B2B operator — we don't have a dedicated data protection officer, but the contact details above reach the people responsible for handling data requests.

Data we collect

We keep this to what we actually need to answer an enquiry or arrange a shipment.

Information you give us directly

  • Quote request form: contact name, email address and phone number (required); company name, pickup country and delivery country (optional); and anything you add in the notes field, which may include cargo details or other information you choose to share.
  • Direct contact: anything you send us by email or phone, including your contact details and the content of the message.

Information collected automatically

This site does not run analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. Like any website, the underlying hosting infrastructure may keep standard server access logs (such as IP address, browser type and access times) for security and technical operation — we do not use these logs for marketing or profiling.

How we use it

We use the personal data described above to:

  • Respond to quote requests and enquiries, including assessing route, timing and price (necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Prepare, manage and perform a transport contract once a shipment is confirmed (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Keep records required for accounting, tax and other legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Maintain the security and proper functioning of this website (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.

Cookies & third-party content

This website does not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no cookie consent banner because none are needed for the current build.

To render correctly, the page loads two third-party resources directly from the visitor's browser:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) — delivers the site's typefaces. Google may process your IP address as part of serving this request; see Google's Privacy Policy.
  • jQuery, loaded from the jsDelivr/jQuery CDN (code.jquery.com) — a script library used for the site's interactions. The CDN provider may log standard request data (such as IP address) as part of delivering the file.

Neither service is used by us to track visitors across sites, and we do not receive any personal data back from them. If this policy changes because we add analytics or marketing tools in future, this section will be updated and, where required, a consent mechanism will be added.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only where necessary to run our business:

  • Email and communication providers we use to receive and reply to enquiries.
  • Subcontracted carriers and partners — only shipment-related details necessary to plan and perform a confirmed transport, not the enquiry data itself unless a booking proceeds.
  • Accountants, auditors and legal advisers, where necessary to meet our legal and contractual obligations.
  • Public authorities, where we are required by law to disclose information (for example, tax or customs authorities).

International transfers

We are based in Latvia and primarily process data within the European Economic Area. The third-party resources described under Cookies & third parties are operated by providers headquartered outside the EEA (including the United States). Where such transfers occur, they rely on the provider's own safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, as published by that provider.

How long we keep it

  • Quote requests that don't lead to a booking: kept for up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
  • Confirmed shipments and related correspondence: kept for the period required by Latvian accounting and tax legislation (generally several years from the end of the relevant financial year).
  • Direct emails and phone enquiries: kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry, unless a longer period applies under the points above.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it (access).
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (rectification).
  • Ask us to delete your data where there is no legal reason for us to keep it (erasure).
  • Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive the data you gave us in a portable format, where technically feasible (portability).
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Contact us. We aim to respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of the Republic of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija) — www.dvi.gov.lv — or the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.

Children's privacy

This website is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold against unauthorised access, loss or misuse — for example, limiting who has access to enquiry data and using reputable, secure providers for email and hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if our data practices change or the law requires it. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
